I returned to Solace Transit Villa for my final night in Sri Lanka, and once again, the owner's kindness and hospitality exceeded my expectations.
Although he was away when I arrived, he thoughtfully left the room key for me so I could check in without waiting.
As my flight was late in the evening, he kindly allowed me to check out at 7 PM.
What impressed me most was his exceptional kindness. Despite the heavy rain, he personally took my clothes to a laundry service and brought them back clean and neatly ironed.
Another unforgettable gesture was when he refused to take the remaining amount I owed him, insisting that I keep the Sri Lankan cash to make sure I had enough for my transport to the airport.
His genuine kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness made my departure so much easier.
I couldn't have wished for a better ending to my eight-day journey through Sri Lanka.
Thank you once again for everything. I left Sri Lanka with wonderful memories, and your hospitality was certainly one of them!
Highly recommended!
