We provided our own breakfast and meals. We were please with the kitchen but felt that spices and other standard cooking utensils were less than optimal. The stovetop was adequate.
The bathroom was very nice and we both liked it.
Finding the property was very difficult. Both its name and Google maps information were misleading.
The Bookings map location is simply wrong, placing the property much closer to the Guggenheim Collection than it actually is and much further from the Grand Canal than implied.
However, once we called Christina, she straightened us out and directed me to one of several Whatsapp messages that contained most of the information. Had I not had a smartphone or if the signal had been bad, we would have been in a lot of trouble arriving late in the day and exhausted. Paying the bed tax was difficult to say the least, with no online functionality in Italy.
Making coffee in the morning was a major chore. Only 3-4 inserts for the espresso machine were provided and we could not make "lungo" Americano coffees in it at all. The traditional stovetop coffee maker was too small and we actually got burned trying to use it. Also, we enjoy wine, but there was only one wine glass. The refrigerator and other kitchen appliances were clean and adequate for our stay.
The furniture was almost inadequate, with one chair unusable. It was not competitive at the price that we paid.
The shared courtyard on a minor cross-peninsula canal was a major attraction, but we were unable to use it. It was dirty and unkempt. There were no chairs and we were not allowed to open the doors that would have allowed us to enjoy the canal - citing "safety" issues. Then, why offer it? When we did open the balcony doors briefly, mosquitos got in and they woke us up at night.

The location is fantastic. It is quiet, beautiful, and very central in Dorsoduro. It was easy to walk everywhere, and the peaceful neighborhood was a big plus. Communication with the host before arrival was excellent.
There were several issues in the apartment that affected our stay. One dining chair was broken and felt unsafe to use. Only a few coffee pods were provided for our entire stay, and although we contacted the host about this, they simply apologized and didn’t offer any more. Many basic supplies were missing, such as laundry detergent for the washing machine, paper towels, napkins, and there was only a minimal amount of cutlery and only a single wine glass. The private courtyard was lovely and quiet but completely empty, with no table or chairs to sit and enjoy the space. The Murphy bed wasn’t very comfortable, with a gap behind the pillows and a slight tilt, and the pillows themselves could have been better quality. The air conditioner worked most of the time but occasionally stopped and blew warm air. Overall, for the price, we expected the apartment to be better equipped, more comfortable, and better maintained.
