Comfortable apartment in a great location

The location is very central and only a few minutes’ walk from the canal. There are a couple of supermarkets within east walking distance and it’s only a 5 minute walk to lots of bars and restaurants and the market. When we were there, there was plenty of on-street parking and we always found a space very close to the apartment. The apartment itself is very light and airy, the sofa and beds are comfortable and the outdoor space was a bonus. I think it lends itself better to a longer stay rather than an overnight stay.

It could do with a little attention - a window and some blinds need to be fixed and some of the furniture is a little rickety. A lick of paint wouldn’t go amiss, especially outdoors. The shower wall support needs to be replaced as it doesn’t hold the shower head in place. I didn’t like the shower room at all, particularly the floor, but that’s personal preference.

Our stay was full of the historic sites of Narbonne and the outstanding restaurant options nearby.

The location was perfect for us. An easy walk into the center of Narbonne. The apartment was incredibly well stocked from the well appointed kitchen to the linens. The outdoor area received lots of sun, yet was protected from the wind. It was a wonderful stay.
