The hotel is ideally located in the center of Windhoek, offering convenient access to the city, and the building is clean and well maintained.
The booking registration and room allocation process needs significant improvement. My booking was made through Booking.com based on an agreed room and price. Upon arrival, I initially received the room key from the security staff; however, when the manager arrived, I was moved to a different room and charged a higher price than originally agreed.
This unexpected change to both the room and price was embarrassing and unacceptable. My purpose in raising this concern is to request better control of bookings, clearer communication with guests, and respect for confirmed reservations and agreed prices. I strongly recommend that the hotel improve its booking and management system to prevent similar situations from happening to other guests.
Another concern is the payment process: neither VISA card nor bank transfer was accepted, and payment was required exclusively in cash, with no receipt provided. I would like to highlight this issue to ensure transparency, proper payment traceability, and appropriate supporting documentation.
