If you want a true Filipino experience living amongst the locals, then this is the place to stay.
Maricel, our host was so welcoming and accommodating, she did everything she could to make our month long stay comfortable.
Our laundry was washed by the staff if we needed and I was given a SIM card when the WiFi didn’t work well.
The bedroom although small, was comfortable and the air con excellent. A fridge outside was ideal for storing our food and drinks.
The bathroom was downstairs and adequate, when we figured out the shower it was good and hot.
There was a small cooking area and deck to sit out on where we had breakfast.
We were able to book a scooter with Maricel and it was essential for getting around the island.
The views from our chalet were lovely of the mountains and port area, lots of wildlife to see.
The locals especially the kids on the walk down the hill were very welcoming and friendly. A Noisy and busy life here on the hill but as true to life as you can get.

Just for feedback…as the property is being updated, it could do with a little more attention to detail, for example the bathroom area cleaned more regularly and the bins emptied. Lots of insects around.

- Jolie vue, beau cadre
- Espaces de vie extérieur

- La chambre est vraiment petite, il y a à peine de la place pour poser ses affaires à côté du lit
- La SDB et les toilettes sont en dessous de la chambre, il faut passer par l'extérieur et descendre des escaliers pour y accéder. Mais c'était précisé dans la description
- Plutôt bruyant, surtout la 1re nuit (travaux ?) et à cause des coqs
- Le personnel peu communicant et peu réactif : à mon arrivée, on m'a conduite à ma chambre mais on ne m'a rien expliqué ; j'ai demandé pour aller aux sources chaudes et j'ai eu une réponse le lendemain après-midi ; la veille de mon départ, j'ai demandé s'il fallait que je fasse quelque-chose et je n'ai jamais eu de réponse. J'ai laissé la clé sur la porte et je suis partie
- J'ai mis du temps pour trouver comment avoir de l'eau chaude : il faut la régler au niveau du coffre en hauteur côté douche

It was a little bamboo chalet
No toilet, inside,,you had to go outside and walk downstairs ,,to go for a pee in the night, which is not good,, also they advertise scooter hire for 100 pesos a night ,,for incentive To Book,, but unfortunately they was charging 500 pesos per day
