Beautiful apt, very clean with modern amenities. Comfortable beds, well thought of layout! Just be ready to walk up 200+ steps going up to the place:)

Sensational!! Absolutely above expectations. A day before check in, the host reached out to advise that they had upgraded us from the suite we had booked (Matisse) to a larger suite (Modigliani). What a nice start for our trip! Upon arrival, we were able to stow our luggage and take off to tour. When we returned, we had our check in code and easily access to the unit.
The unit is immaculately kept, very clean throughout, quality linens, nicely furnished. It was a loft apartment with beautiful skylights that give you a view of the Sacre Coeur and bring light into the loft, but have very good electric shades to provide blackout. A nicely updated apartment that has all the charm of the older building (exposed beams, wood staircase, wood floor) but modern amenities and features. It was very hot when we were there (30'sC) but AC works well.
Location! Montmaitre, right across from the main square, lots of activity but the unit is rather soundproof so not at all an issue. The restaraunt downstairs has a lovely patio for taking in the action and the food and service were excellent. We ate there multiple times, it was perfect after a long day of exploring to have a great meal steps from the apartment.
Stairs. There are 2 separate flights to get to the unit, and one to the loft inside. If you are not mobile, it will be an issue but likewise staying in Montmartre will be tough - cobblestone streets and several flights (184 and 187 steps) to get to/from the metro at Abbesses.
