You know how the pictures always look prettier than the thing? Not true in this case, it actually does look that good up-close. The apartment seems recently renovated and well cared for. The fully equipped kitchen was a huge plus for our 17 day stay, even got to bake cakes. The hosts were super helpful and quick to respond. They even provided a cot for our 11m/o (which we ended up not using cause he didn't like being 'caged' but I digress). All rooms are equipped with RGB-LED light strips, which, aside from being a fun toy for those of us who haven't grown up entirely yet, offer a great option for moderate back-lighting e.g. to find your way around during the night. The beds and couch have *plenty* of pillows and a generous number of towels are provided (you find more in the super spacious closets), alongside a washing machine if you run out. You will need to bring your own detergent though.
When we arrived we were greeted by a handful of nice surprises (no spoilers!), including a pre-supplied fridge with some water, snacks, and drinks, so one *could* spend the first evening just *arriving* without the need to go out to get water or find a restaurant for food. One easily could do those things as well as there are a bunch of local (and somewhat less touristic) restaurants close-by, towards the north-west. The city center/closest bus stop are a few minutes on foot away, but you do get a more calm environment like that.
Of course it wasn't *perfect*, but at that price point we had already expected way less, so this is explicitly being nit-picky: There is only one key, so if you are traveling with multiple people, you might have to stash it in the lock-box outside, if you don't know who will come back first. Also, the key must be inside for the electricity to run (kinda like many hotel rooms), which means you cannot run the washing machine while out and about (fridge and freezer run on a separate circuit). The down stairs bathroom (yes there are two bathrooms) is pretty cramped and the ventilation there is *loud* (but turns off when you turn off the lights, so it's not that bad overall). The stairs (note the lack of handrails in the pictures) where a bit spooky at first, especially with an 11m/o.
