About this apartment rental
Come stay at the foot of the Dandenong in a newly renovated studio complete with comfortable queen size bed (one bed only), modern shower vanity toilet, microwave convection oven, induction cooktop, bar fridge, TV, Wi-FI, small workspace and monitor, table and chairs for two, along with a picnic set, finska and other games.
Attached to the main house, this studio unit offers a separate entrance to provide privacy as you come and go and explore all there is to offer in Upper Ferntree Gully. Overlooking the main house backyard, we will respect your privacy during your stay but will be on hand if you need any advice or recommendations. We do have a dog in the backyard, but he cannot access your courtyard area, but you will see.
In walking distance to shops, 1000 Steps tourist attraction and fitness walks, including many beautiful bushwalking tracks and close to the Upper Ferntree Gully Train station.
Only a short drive to the shops, cafes and the beautiful Dandenong's as well as historical Puffing Billy Steam Train in Belgrave.
A small dog may be welcome but not suitable for large breeds. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss this. We have a dog, that is fenced off from your area.
Tea, Coffee, and a selection of herbal tea are available along with towels, linen, shampoos, conditioner and body wash available.

The Dandenong Ranges National Park
The Dandenong Ranges National Park is easily one of the main highlights of the Ferntree Gully area. And if you're a lover of the outdoors in nature, you'll fall in love with the wide range of options this location provides. From the perfect hiking spots to beautiful forest walking trails and of course the famous 1000 Stepa.
Puffing Billy
Puffing Billy a beautiful old steam train runs on its original mountain track from Belgrave to Emerald Lake Park through magnificent rainforest and eucalyptus. Setting off from Belgrave Train Station, which is only a short walk from the township of Belgrave, the train weaves its way over the historical Tressel Bridge on its way to Emerald.
Tree Top Adventures
The tree top adventure park is located in belle Grove and provides several tree top, adventure, obstacle courses poster also offering a flying fox and making it possible for you to weave through the beautifully made canopy of the Glen Harrow heritage gardens.
1000 Steps
The famous 1000 steps of Kokoda Walk is certainly a favourite for locals and visitors from far and wide. The 1000 Steps is approximately 2 kilometres from Acacia Road
Tim Neville Arboretum
The Tim Neville Arboretum is located a short distance in Boronia on Doreset Rd boosting a fabulous playground for children, tourist's visitors and locals. A lovely place for a picnic.
The Ferntree Gully Quarry Reserve
The Ferntree Gully Quarry Reserve is a lovely place for picnic, BBQ and in the warmer weather for recreational activities.

The Dandenong Ranges has much to offer from the magical picnic ground at Grant’s Picnic Ground to unique shops and cafes in Monbulk, Olinda, Sassafras and Kallista. Certainly, lots to explore

Great amenities, comfy firm bed with gorgeous sheets. We had issues with heating but Amanda immediately rectified it by bringing us a spare heater. We had a lovely time here!

Amanda was a great host, very communicative and helpful. Provided us with a spare mattress which was really appreciated and gave us an option of an earlier check-in too. Space was really clean and had everything we needed. Good location, quiet and easy to find.

This little hideaway would be one of the best places I have stayed. It is bigger than it looks in the pics. Has absolutely everything you could need, the attention to detail and little gifts from the host were just so lovely. The linen was exceptional and the bedding was comfortable.The little deck was great and my fur baby loved it. It was quiet and private and the host was extremely helpful. Shops were close by and just a short drive to the centre of the dandenongs. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough! 10/10
