Cozy and comfortably furnished apartment house on a hillside in Altenau, Lower Saxony. The apartments all have a terrace or balcony, are equipped with WLAN and are currently being renovated. gradually renovated and modernized. After your return, a visit to the Kristalltherme Hot Brocken is recommended, where you can spend relaxing and restful hours. The climatic health resort of Altenau is not only one of the starting points for hikes on the Harzer Hexenstieg, but also houses Europe's largest herb park with a beautiful spice gallery. You should also not miss a visit to the Altenau private brewery with a guided tour and tasting. It is the only remaining brewery in the Upper Harz. Altenau is located in the middle of the Upper Harz Mountains, around ten kilometers from Clausthal-Zellerfeld and 15 kilometers from Goslar. To the east, twelve kilometers away, is the summit of the Brocken. Checked in late and the process took under two minutes. The WiFi was solid enough to get some work done without interruptions. Noticed how cozy the living area felt with its simple furniture and that balcony view made breaks way better. Energy usage tracking was neat, helped keep costs down while I stayed connected.

Parking right outside made coming and going hassle-free. Kitchen had all basics like a toaster and coffee machine which saved me time each morning. Balcony was great for morning coffees.
