About this apartment rental
Casa de los Ballenas is 15 minutes from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport (ZIH). Located on Playa Blanca, a secluded 9-mile beach, it's perfect for a relaxing get away. Only 3 miles away, the charming fishing village of Barra de Potosi, a great place to grab is bite to eat and just enjoy the day. Enjoy strolling along the beach, taking a refreshing dip in the pool, or watching whales, dolphins, and pelicans from the balcony, Casa de las Ballenas offers the ultimate vacation experience.
A private balcony overlooks the garden, pool, and beach. The living room features a TV, alongside a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom offers garden, pool, and beach views, plus a private bathroom. A second bedroom with a king-size bed and a third bedroom with two queen-size beds share a hall bath. This second-floor unit is accessible via stairs only.
Starlink is our internet provider. It is much faster and more reliable than any other provider on the beach. If you are interested in TV programming, we include a Roku streaming device.
Guests have access to all common areas which include parking in front, garden and pool. First floor patios are private. Each unit has its own pool furniture, so only use the pool furniture which is owned by condo 204.
Each unit includes an assigned parking space inside the secure gated compound. We would recommend a rental car, but taxis and combis are available. There are a few restaurants which are walking distance. Barra de Potosi is a small fishing village about 3 miles down the beach, a great place to hang out for the day.
Our condo is a no smoking space both inside and outside on the balcony. If you must smoke, please do it in the parking lot or out by the pool.
Sorry, we don't allow any pets for renters due to our HOA rules.

Excellent location and great amenities. We loved going back and forth from the infinity pool to the beach. We saw whales and dolphins daily! The condo is exactly as described and worked well for our two families (7 people total). The kitchen was well equipped and the large fridge was perfect to accommodate all of our groceries and beverages. Highly recommend walking next door to grab dinner at Cenadurias Villegas!The hosts (& Julian) were very responsive and helpful before we arrived and throughout our stay. We appreciated all the info Tim & Sharon shared as we planned our trip.
