The cottage features a welcoming living room with a queen pull-out sofa bed, a full kitchenette for easy meals, and a full bathroom — along with heating, AC, and WiFi — ensuring guests have everything they need for a relaxing stay.
Enjoy free parking for up to two cars and take a scenic 8-minute walk into historic Shepherdstown to explore its shops, dining, and culture. The town is also home to unique experiences like ghost tours, which bring local history to life in a fun and memorable way. Harpers Ferry is just a short drive away for even more exploring.

Great, adorable place to stay for a weekend trip for my husband and I. Good communication from the host with easy check-in and check-out. An easy 10 minute walk to nice, delicious restaurants in historic Shepherdstown, 20 minute drive to Harper’s Ferry for hiking, and only a few mins to Antietam Battlefield. Could easily fit a small family in the cottage. The ceiling upstairs was a non-issue for us and we’re tall- I’m 5’10 and my husband is 6’4. I could stand up straight in the midde of the of the room, my husband couldn’t. We knew the ceiling was sloped going into it and were prepared. The price and location were far more important to us than the sloping ceiling and were not an issue. Would stay here again.

We loved staying here, and walking into town to.explore. The kitchen was well stocked, and the tub was.perfect for soaking after a long day hiking.

The cottage was very lovely. It was comfortable especially the queen bed upstairs. Yes, the ceiling is low upstairs but no worries as down the center we could easily stand up. There was also a twin bed upstairs in addition to the sofa bed we didn't use. The kitchen was fully equipped as well as the bathroom with fresh towels. Loved the privacy we had with having the entire cottage to ourselves. We would stay again.
