Accommodation in a quiet and safe part of town, a short walk from the Barrio Italia arts district and the underground stations. The self-check-in instructions are detailed, and the room is on the first floor with windows overlooking the courtyard. The room is simple and clean, with a large desk. Payment can be made in cash, in US dollars or Chilean pesos.
Apart from the instructions for self-check-in, I wasn’t given any information about using the courtyard or the kitchen facilities. The hot water in the bathroom only ran occasionally and for a short time; the rest of the time it was very cold. The blinds don’t close properly, so you can see into the room at night. The floor creaks a lot, so you can hear everything from the flat above.

It was better than expected.
There was a small freezer in my room, a LARGE desk to work-from-home, and I also had a heater in winter.
The garden (and its cat) made me feel calm.
The neighbourhood is quiet and safe.
It has several pharmacies, and has several vegan options near (the vegan restaurants Kigo, Tierra Libre. The store with vegan meat/milk called El poroto gordo. Dunkin Donuts. The supermarkets had bread Castaño at a good price!).
Maybe the room's curtain can be improved.

La habitación es mucho mejor de lo que muestran las fotos. Erminda es una gran anfitriona, muy cumplida pero además humana y generosa. Muy buena experiencia.
