Absolutely 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely amazing stay at this villa and, without a doubt, would give it 5 stars. The villa is simply beautiful, located in a peaceful area surrounded by rice fields. It was incredibly clean, beautifully maintained and decorated with exceptional taste, with gorgeous natural wood details throughout the property. The private pool, together with the water fountains, creates an incredibly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere — the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Bali. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was Mr. Ridwan — what an absolute legend! ❤️ His kindness, attention to detail and genuine care for his guests are difficult to put into words. He was always available, both at the villa and via WhatsApp, and was constantly looking for ways to help and make our stay better. The man does everything! He cooks, cleans, organizes, fixes things and somehow always manages to do it with a smile. We absolutely loved the breakfasts and dinners he prepared for us. Everything was delicious, always prepared with great care and, importantly, always perfectly on time. His attention to detail was incredible. On the morning we climbed Mount Batur, he made sure to prepare a late breakfast for us for when we returned. And on the day we checked out, he even prepared a small meal for us to take with us on our journey. These may seem like small gestures, but they really show how much he cares about the people staying at his villa. Ridwan is much more than a host. He is a genuinely kind and generous person, with a fascinating philosophy of life and a wonderful way of treating people. He even gave us his personal contact details in case we ever needed help or had any questions while travelling in Indonesia. What a man! The location was also perfect for our plans.

An absolutely spectacular stay! The Macaw Ubud Uma Green Villas is a beautiful, well-managed place. It’s on the smaller side, which means the staff really give it the personal care and attention that makes all the difference. I especially want to mention Ridwan, who did an amazing job. He went out of his way to help with the little things — small gestures that really count and made our stay so much better. I honestly can’t thank him enough. The location is stunning — set right in the middle of the rice fields, peaceful and quiet. Exactly what you hope for in Ubud. Five stars without hesitation. But to be clear, this is a beautiful property in the middle of the rice fields in a tropical country — a bit of nature comes with the territory, and that’s part of the charm. Highly recommended!

If I had one small, purely constructive suggestion for management (nothing to do with the hospitality, which was excellent): there’s a small gap under the door connecting to the bedroom where insects occasionally get in. A cheap, thin transparent seal strip — the kind used around bathroom fittings — would close that gap easily and inexpensively. A tiny fix that would make a great room even better.
