The location is excellent. Within walking distance to the town centre, a shopping centre, cinema and fast food restaurant's. The owner was very friendly as was his son who we also met. Some previous reviewers comments about the safety of the area are uneducated. It's a working class area, with children who play on the streets. Surely to be applauded these days. Great value for money and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment is very warm and a good size kitchen with a washing machine and tumble dryer. We had a great stay!
The TV doesn't work very well and the wi-fi signal was very weak. But tbf, we were out most of the time anyways. The infamous door mentioned in other reviews - we discussed it with the owner. It doesn't set a good example when you first walk in but the rest of the house was absolutely spotless especially the bedrooms. Can be easily treated with a new bit of vinyl from Woodies. Very little we didn't like and would happily stay again!
