Le cadre était exceptionnel, avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes et les plantations de thé. La chambre était très belle et confortable, et le petit déjeuner à la fois varié et délicieux. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la piscine, très agréable pour se détendre et profiter du cadre.
Le seul point négatif concerne l’insonorisation des chambres, qui pourrait être améliorée. L’hôtel est situé en haut d’une colline, donc il faut prévoir une petite montée pour y accéder, mais la vue en vaut largement la peine !

We stayed at Lord’s Haputale on our way from Mirissa to Ella for a stopover to see Lipton’s Seat. We had a beautiful view from our double room mountain view room. The room was spacious, modern, clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were exceptional to deal with and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We used the pool briefly (the manager arranged for (part of) the pool to be warmed up when we arrived). After our swim we ate dinner at the property and it was very good- excellent prawn curry and chutney- the manager kindly arranged a pot of the chutney for us to take with us!). Breakfast was also very good with fresh fruit and choice of breakfast type (.we chose English breakfast). The property was quiet being away from the centre up a small road, aside from the evening and morning religious calling from (I assume) the local mosque. However this was quite short lived.
Overall we loved our stay in this beautiful and welcoming property.
Minor things only- Bed was a little firm for us but we still managed a good night sleep. Missing a minibar fridge.

Clean and modern. The views from the balcony were superb. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty and well prepared.

Wonderful hotel on a hill with amazing views of valley below. Modern spacious hotel with friendly staff (Sonia the manager is a wonderful person). We loved our room - spacious with a big balcony with table & chairs and a sun bed. We enjoyed the food - dinner and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend the hotel - lovely pool as well.
Nothing - the call to prayer at nearby Mosque at 4:45 AM may disturb very light sleepers. Wife slept through the few minutes.
