Loved how clean it was, the space was perfect. Really liked the location and there was a beautiful view from the hut. We will definitely be returning.
Too many emails before booking, but I don't know whether this is because of the hosts or the management company

The shepherds hut is nestled away on a hill and gave us the most amazing 360 views of Keswick and the lake. The hut was spotless and very comfortable. There were welcome biscuits and a bottle of milk which was a nice touch. They also left us some handy tips about the area, walking and attraction guides.

excellent location and view. Close to town but rural local location. Very clean and in excellent order. No television or WiFi (see below!)

Beautiful views from every side; the weather unfortunately didn't spoil us, so we couldn't take advantage of the terrace. The lodge was spacious enough for two people. Very clean, fresh milk in the fridge, and a welcome pack of biscuits. It takes about a 30-minute downhill walk to reach Keswick; we didn't test the way back. After a whole day of hiking in the mountains, we took bus number 555. If you need an escape from the daily hustle and bustle, Lake District and Shepherd's View are definitely a great choice. I hope to return there someday.
I don't think the price is heavily overpriced, but if it were 20 percent lower, it would be perfect.
