location was super and the caretaker Beatice was amazing and attended to all needs as required

it was tricky to navigate glassware however it was eventually resolved. a tour wou,d be needed as the property iss fairly big

We had a pleasant stay , Linda and her staff supported us in every way possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible since i was not feeling well . Thank you so much for all the hospitality and care .

Good for travelers on official business seeking a budget location. USD 50 and less would be more in line with the services for the budget rooms. Beatrice was an exceptionally good host

The water supply has very low pressure and one must first request booster. Hot water pressure is low and that is distressful in winter. Some window shutters in the budget house require attention

Clean. Comfortable beds.

Wifi issues. Shower issues. No one at the gate to let us in when we got there- rang bell twice. Tried to text the number given. Thankfully the taxi driver let us use his phone to call and someone finally came. One of the women told us she was given a tip in euros (why someone would tip in euros in the first place is beyond me), and she asked us if we could exchange it for her- the 3 of us don’t use euros at home so we said no. Then again before we left, she brought it up asking if we can give her USD for the euros.. again, we don’t use euros at home so the answer did not change - no. She was clearly upset but why would we change for a currency we don’t use either. We were also only staying at this place for a few hours between flights so I repeatedly made sure that the gate wasn’t going to be locked so we could leave between 11/11:30pm without having to wake anyone up to unlock it. I was told it would be left unlocked for us. When it came time to leave, the gate was locked. No one was around to unlock it. I texted the number and 2 people came. This is when we were asked the 2nd time to give USD for euros. And then we were not allowed to leave until our room was checked. This was the strangest part. If we left at a normal check out time, we wouldn’t have been held inside a locked gate for our rooms to be checked - we would have just left. This situation was extremely uncomfortable not only bc we were literally just being held there until the women told security to unlock it, but also bc I was told in messages many times that it wouldn’t be locked. I’ve stayed at many places before and have never been held inside a locked area to have my room inspected before being able to leave. If I ever came back to Zimbabwe, I would not stay here again.
