Nice and cosy. I found there was plenty of space for a small lodge. Really Walker friendly and pet friendly. Bed comfortable with lovely bedding.
I’m not sure if I’d get the packed lunch and breakfast again but it’s nice to have the option. Felt expensive for what it was but having said that the hosts are so accommodating it’s neither here nor there. Struggled to find a general bin for dog waste etc but maybe i just couldn’t see it.

Great location, very relaxing stay. Loved seeing the animals and the surrounding area is beautiful.
The sofa bed is a little hard, I brought a mattress topper to make it a little more comfortable after a long day hiking.

The cabin was well stocked and had a great veranda. The couch bed wasn’t very comfortable.
I didn’t have a car as I was hiking the Cumbria way and the only pub in town wasn’t serving meals the night I was there so I got a frozen pizza from my host. There wasn’t anywhere to have breakfast the next day either so I had to walk a few hours to find a cafe.
