This was one of the best accommodations I’ve stayed at in Italy. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, food, and beaches to visit. She was hospitable, kind, flexible, and happy to help.
The apartment itself is very well maintained and feels private and peaceful despite its central location. The standard of cleanliness was exceptionally high, and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The apartment also has air conditioning, which was absolutely essential during the peak of the Italian summer.
The location was perfect for us. It’s not directly inside Lecce’s old town, but rather between the historic centre and the newer part of central Lecce, making both very easy to explore on foot. It’s also very close to Garibaldi Park, where many of the city buses stop, including Line 16 to San Cataldo, which is very convenient for reaching the nearest beaches.
The central train station and the bus stops for travelling to other towns and cities are also within walking distance, so it’s a great base if you want to explore Lecce as well as the surrounding area.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend staying here.

I loved how close I was to the Centro Storico, great for restaurants and evening strolls. There were nearby bus stops to get to the station in a few minutes but I chose to do the 15minute walk. Mariella was a lovely host, very helpful, very relaxed and always quick to respond. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets very clean and fresh - this made getting up early to start the day's activities very difficult 😅
The room was perfect for my plans I would only suggest a full length mirror as an addition

This was very conveniently placed for the old town. The actual room was in a beautiful 3 storey building within minutes of the centre. Exceptionally clean and tastefully furnished.. Our host was very helpful with good communication from the start.
