It was a very well kept site very tidy and also very quiet and peaceful. Location very good for all places to visit like longleat Bath Frome some nice country pubs around Location.
The only problem you cannot get the TV to work you have to bring your own subscription to get the TV to work 🙄 but overall everything was fine.

Good location, excellent for Longleat. Large area for parking and easy check-in/check-out process with clear instructions sent before arrival.
Very clean room and shower room. Plenty of space for luggage etc and welcome tea/coffee facility although would have been better with a small fridge for milk, cold water etc. Appreciated sockets next to the bed for charging. Lovely, fluffy towels.
We didn't meet the owners so we can't comment on customer service, although online communication from the point of booking to arrival was good.
Would recommend 'Loud Mouth Café ' for breakfast, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Also had a good meal at 'The Mason's Arms' where the host was fabulous, such a friendly welcome!
Not so much things we didn't like, rather suggestions to improve the stay:
Already mentioned a small fridge. A comfy chair would've been good, although we made use of the cube stool. The mattress was a little uncomfortable, but good pillows. Please mention the metal staircase on the ad. I found it a challenge with arthritic knees. Certainly a 2nd bannister rail would help. The TV wasn't tuned to 'regular ' channels so we didn't use it. Glad we brought books!

room only nice new good shower etc
didnt get code for main entrance..called the number..lady owner I presume, very rude,and short.Accused ME of speaking rudely, gave me the code to get in, which I did not write down(in the rain), said she was busy with her daughter, then put the phone down..not a good owner or receptionist whoever.
2 of us then climbed the wall twice in, twice out in the rain.
Nice place, but the lady needs some lessons in courtesy
