Newly updated unit is very comfortable and user friendly but a bit hard to locate.

Instructions were good, except there is no signage and the building looks more like a store or business than a place to stay so it was a bit hard to locate.

I tried to communicate with the property numerous times to ask about storing luggage prior to check in, and sent 3-4 messages and never heard back at all. Communications were not acceptable.

Small room, on arrival the room was not ready, still we had a good night sleep.

We booked here just as a 1 night stay over until moving on the following day, the things I liked about this apartment would be… the location was easy to walk to bars, restaurants and sight seeing. It felt secure, code on the main door of the building to get in. We had communication from the host about wi-fi and where to go in the building. The bed was comfortable.

Sadly, we walked into our apartment… the bed was not made, all pillows and duvets were just in a pile. There were cloths from cleaning drying on a chair. Funnily enough there were two hoovers in the room but on inspection the floor had not been hoovered as there were hairs and dust dotted around. The bathroom also fine, but did not look like it had been cleaned, hair and dry splash marks all around. I did find some antibacterial wipes but they were bone dry. Only 1 mug. We are not a fussy couple and I totally appreciate that we got this 1 night in Athens at a very cheap price but come on, I’ve never had to make my own bed ever in anywhere I’ve ever booked. Even the picture on the wall was crooked. Lol It did make us feel down but we gave the place a once over ourselves, changed our outfits and went out, we had a good nights sleep so all was ok. We actually had this same building booked for our return journey through Athens and we had a different apartment and a completely different experience. So would I stay here again knowing it’s a roll of the dice what apartment you get and what experience you have, sadly I would not.

It was clean

It was very small. No, body wash, no toilet paper…. Just a simple few extras makes a difference. Ed didn’t even know there was a washing machine. Power went out two days in a row.
