First we are grateful that a mistake we made was resolved by Chapel House. The room was large with 2 chairs (not every double room has them). Comfortable bed and ample storage space for clothes, etc. Quirky breakfast box brought to our room each morning with good hot food. What we saw of the the staff the were very friendly.
Going up stairs (we retired to a bungalow!!). Also, on road parking was a bit problematic but we got it sorted.

Our breakfast was very good we had a sandwich from the breakfast menu that was very very tasty we had the porridge brûlée very yummy and an apple and orange juice. It comes to your room on a tray with the most interesting spoon for the porridge it was a small shovel very quirky

Massive rooms! Huge comfy bed, great location
The pool in the hotel we were aloud to use wasn’t great. Quite run down and not the cleanest. But i have absolutely no complaints about the accommodation at chapel house

Location was ok, room size was great thats where it ends.
ITS NO WAY A £150 per night king suite.
Rough around the edges,cracked walls (yes its an old building) double bed was 2 single mattresses. Old none smart tv worst dated furniture ever. Stupid sofa infront of tv yet no table to put anything on.
Ad states parking yes its advertised as £8 once youve paid then your text on the day its £10 for street parking.
Shower was very scabby and broken, see pics.
View was literally a tree.
Breakfast £12.50 for a sarnie,yogurt and orange juice.
Go out walk up road cross over dejabrew fantastic full English.
It was clean thats it.
Playing pool is £1 a go so thats good but a can on beer out of the fridge £4 thats prob £5 a 4 pack from Tesco down the road. However thats your choice but is a nice touch just too expensive.
So its a very very average large room deffo not at that price.
