We were well received. I like that we were allowed to use the washing machine and that our room had good ventilation. The room was also clean and well-equipped. The accommodation is also conveniently situated at the centre of Shkoder.

Clean, central location, and the woman who checked us in was very kind
The room gets very bright when the hallway light is turned on, especially for the person whose bed is directly underneath the window.
The first night a member of staff was checking some guests in at 1:30am and was speaking at full volume with them right outside our door. My partner had to go out to ask them to speak more quietly, after which we struggled to get back to sleep. We let the hotel know the next day this happened and they responded with a generic message written by ChatGPT.
The hotel also uses an unadvertised, less favorable €1 to 100 lek rate, meaning you pay about 5% more than what is shown on Booking. I thought this was very cheeky as the other accommodations we’ve been to in Albania have either given us the market rate or have allowed payment in Euros. We were only there 2 nights so it wasn’t much but it’s consequential if you’re here for a longer term stay
