Hamden Hotel and Suites HAMDEN - NEW HAVEN

Both breakfast and location were fine. I did have to wait for coffee which was a mid inconvenient.z

There was a strong smell in my room. Pretty poignant upon entry. Maybe stale smoke.

Conveniently located right off the highway

My room, the pool, the breakfast spread was Amazing and beautiful with so many options.

The internet sucked couldn’t use laptop. And when it said Spain thought it had a real spa with different things. There spa was a cold jacuzzi in the pool room.

It was very clean. The free full breakfast was good. Most of the staff were friendly and courteous. It has a decent pool and hot tub. It is also closely located next to a good restaurant.

One of the staff members, a short slender guy with blonde and brunette hair was very rude and arrogant the few times that I interacted with. I did not give him the same energy he gave me, because I have self-control. However, the only time he smiled at me was when his manager was on duty with him, and I was asking the manager about something that same employee had falsely told me. If not for my experience with him, I would have given this hotel a higher rating. Also, my Quadruple Garden room with balcony was a bit disappointing. The room was smaller than expected, and the balcony faced a parking lot with a couple of dumpsters in it. My family said that they never want to stay at this hotel again. But it was ok to me. I will probably stay again.
