The standard of the apartment was exceptional. The owner had thought of every possibility to ensure that we had a positive experience, even providing a gift as a result of our previous visit.

I loved the place itself. It was very nicely decorated and everything was very clean and comfortable. It was actually nicer in person than in the photos.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and found the apartment to be comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly as pictured. We truly appreciated the quality of the space and the care that has clearly gone into it.
There were, however, two aspects that could be improved:
Because the main entrance is made of glass and the apartment is located on the first floor, right next to the street, the bedroom facing the street was somewhat noisy at night. Light sleepers may want to keep this in mind.
When booking, I specifically searched for a two-bedroom apartment, as there were two of us traveling who are not a couple. Shortly before our arrival, we were informed that there would be an additional charge for using the second bedroom. While I understand that this detail may have been included in the fine print, it was not immediately clear during the booking process. I was happy to proceed and pay the fee, and we were very pleased with the apartment itself, but greater transparency upfront regarding the total cost would have made the experience smoother.
Ultimately, the issue was not the additional cost, but rather the lack of clarity in how it was communicated. Clearer pricing from the outset would make an already excellent stay even better.

Roberta was incredibly friendly and welcoming - the communication before the stay was very easy so was the check in. Since I stayed for 2weeks she even cleaned the apartment and re-filled coffee and snacks during my stay. The location is great, just a 5-10min walk to the center. Also there are always (paid) parking spots available right in front of the place or around the block. The flat and also the kitchen is very well equipped, nothing was missing. Also there was a washing machine and a dryer which is very convenient. Even though there is no balcony or terrace (ground level) the air circulation is very good. I have stayed in so many places in Catania (because I come here frequently for work) but this is definitely one of my favorite ones. I will definitely come back anytime. 5*+ rating
