Fabulous

Beautiful property with everything you need. Great central location. There are lots of steps up to the property that would probably be tricky with toddlers/heavy suitcases.

No sink in wc - but just used kitchen one.

A very comfortable stay in the centre of town at a great price

This apartment is in a wonderful, central location overlooking a beautiful square with gardens and a playground. At night in the summer, images are projected on to the Art School opposite. It's a joy! The flat is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped with fridge and freezer. The coffee pods, teabags and chocolates were a lovely touch. There is free parking on the square and surrounding streets between 5pm and 9am and on Sundays which was great. Otherwise, you can pay by app or at the parking meters. There is also free parking about a 15 minute walk away. We stayed here on our outbound and inbound journeys and loved each visit.

The flat is on the first floor of a building being renovated, so you do walk through a building site and up an external staircase covered in dust to reach the flat. This is not lit at night, so bring a torch. Building work starts at 8am on a weekday and is very noisy. There is no sink in the toilet which seems unhygienic and the shower bracket needs tightening so that the shower head doesn't droop. We found the WiFi a bit unreliable and could only watch TV by logging into our own accounts, e.g. Netflix. It wasn't a huge problem, but our teenagers were not impressed. It did get very hot in the bedrooms and the fans did not help much. I would like to have 2 sets of keys or the ability to lock the apartment door from the inside. If one person went out, we had to call the person in the flat to let us in.

Wonderful duplex apartment with exceptional attention to detail!

This new duplex apartment shows outstanding attention to details from the hosts. The first level features an open-plan kitchen, a cozy living room, and a toilet, while the upper level has two bedrooms and a bathroom (with a shower and sink, but no toilet). The kitchen is probably the best equipped I’ve ever seen in a rental property. Not only is everything brand new, spotlessly clean, and fully functional, but it feels like the hosts have thoughtfully anticipated every possible need or wish of their guests. There are cheese knives, a bottle opener, a hand mixer, various plates, pots, pans, bowls, trays—even a cake stand! It’s crazy! And truly impressive. You can feel the hosts’ care and generosity in every detail: from dishwasher pods and cleaning supplies to an abundance of towels and pillows. The building is located near a wide esplanade with a few terraces where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. We were initially concerned about potential noise, but everything quieted down around 9:30 pm, and we slept soundly in our very comfortable beds.

One thing to note: access to the apartment is via a small courtyard and three flights of stairs (plus additional stairs inside the unit), so be prepared for a bit of a climb, especially if you have large suitcases. Also, there’s no hand basin in the toilet, so you’ll need to use the kitchen sink to wash your hands.
