Beautifully presented property inside, could do with some TLC on exterior. Clean, spacious, comfortable.
Bit dated externally and expensive (but it was Grand Prix weekend so prices inflated everywhere).

The house and location are second to none. Perfect for us
The noisy heating system is very loud and woke us all at 7.30. It gets loud again when it comes on in the evening.

Very well equipped, recently refurbished, clean, good location for visiting Blenheim palace , comfortable beds, adequate parking for 3 cars. Very nice gastro pub 5 minutes walk away( excellent food but expensive). Nice walk to Woodstock. Well stocked village shop with nice fresh bread and pastries.
The heating was only scheduled for 2 hours in the morning 7 until 9 and 2 hours in the evening, 6 pm until 8 pm. It was very cold when we stayed, below freezing, so this was totally inadequate and we were very cold. The instructions were that we were not to touch the controls and to contact the management. Despite doing this the first evening nothing happened, so another cold evening and night. Impossible to relax and enjoy the comfortably furnished living room. Another message sent and the next morning the heating didn’t come on at all. More messages and finally the heating did come on. The next day it didn’t come on in the morning again, but we were leaving anyway.
If you travel by train the nearest station is Tackley. When I asked whether it was walking distance or if there was a bus connection the advice was that it was a 10 minute drive and taxis would be available at the station. However Tackley station is on the outskirts of a small village, there is nothing there, no ticket office or machine, no parking area and definitely no taxis. If you plan to arrive by train you need to prebook a taxi from the nearest company which is in Oxford and cost £25.
The only other small point I would suggest is that a folder containing local information would be helpful.

Loved the area, close to all the best parts of the cotswolds and the little park area for the kids across the road was a hidden gem. House was clean, well kept and plenty of room for a large family (more than we needed). The facilities were great with an en suite in the master and 2 additional toilets in the property. Plenty of extras provided too like a few toys for the kids and bits and pieces for the baby. Garden was also fantastic, it was very spacious for the little ones to run around in and we were lucky with the weather so nice to sit out for a drink in the evening. Little play house and garden toys also a little bonus.
If I had to say something it would be the small toddler proofing touches needed. A stairgate would be amazing and securing that TV somehow either to a wall or just out of little hands reach. Would save parents the small headache of battling with unruly toddlers.
