Very good location - 5 min to via maqueda - the main street to eat, and all important sights are in walking distance, but it is still very quiet. The apartment is very big, with high ceilings, has two balconies, a very secure feeling, option to do remote check in - including later in the evening and early in the morning/night. Exceptionally clean. 2 air conditioning units. Perfect communication with the hosts who are fast to response and are very helpful in all sorts of situations.
Overall a very nice place and good value for money all things considered.
A few small things: No place to put your own toiletries in the shower. A nicely equipped kitchen but no microwave if you care about that thing. The stove is a gas one and the first morning my hairspray activated the gas alarm so we stopped the gas all together and didn't use it at all, so I don't know if that would have happened again. The lliving area doesn't have a window so limited natural light but very good artificial lighting. No elevator, but a nicely kept staircase. One thing I would improve is a better indication of which apartment is the correct one with a more clear sign.
Lastly, this particular area in Palermo is made of narrow streets, and not all of them are clean, some have a particular smell and due to density of the buildings in the summer months it can get very hot and stuffy. This has nothing to do with the property but something to keep in mind - while the location is central, and the street is quiet, this is not the cleanest/most elegant part of the city. If I were to stay in Palermo again, I probably would stay near Teatro Politeama, but that is just a personal preference and shouldn't be something reflecting on your reluctance to book the apartment if this area interests you!

Ein traumhaftes Apartment in super zentraler Lage. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und bekamen nützliche Informationen für unseren Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist vom allerfeinsten ausgestattet, u.a. mit einer super Kaffeemaschine und einer total modernen Waschmaschine. Dazu gibt es in beiden Räumen sehr große Fernseher :)
Sowohl das Doppelbett als auch die Ausziehcouch sind super bequem - besser haben wir auf unserer Italien-Rundreise nirgendwo geschlafen. Die Zimmer sind riesig und gemütlich, so dass man auch einen verregneten oder einen Hitzetag gut Drinnen rumbringen kann. Die Gastgeber sind total herzlich und wirklich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Besser kann man in Palermo kaum übernachten. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Pobyt był naprawdę udany. Spędziliśmy w apartamencie 11 dni i wszystko spełniło nasze oczekiwania. Mieszkanie było czyste, przestronne i dobrze wyposażone, dzięki czemu czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo. Lokalizacja również była świetna – dobry punkt do zwiedzania miasta i okolicy.
Gospodarz był bardzo pomocny, szybko odpowiadał na wiadomości i dbał o to, aby niczego nam nie brakowało. Zameldowanie i wymeldowanie przebiegły bezproblemowo.
Zdecydowanie polecam ten apartament każdemu, kto planuje pobyt. Chętnie wrócimy przy kolejnej okazji!
