The house exceeded our expectations in every respect and provided a comfortable and welcoming environment throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed being able to braai in the enclosed stoep, which offered a pleasant and sheltered space for socialising regardless of the weather. The large table served as an excellent gathering place where we could relax, share meals, and spend quality time together in conversation. In addition, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep and contributing significantly to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The location was excellent, offering convenient access to the nearby shopping mall while remaining within close proximity to Hermanus.
One concern was that the back entrance had only a security gate and no solid exterior door. As a result, the house became quite cold. In addition, the windows were fitted only with see-through blinds, which provided limited insulation and light blockage.

The host gave clear instruction with regard to access to the property so we had no issues. The backyard was large and spacious and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is in a safe area and fairly close to amenities so I loved getting around without any concerns.
The backyard on the property is a great space for outdoor entertainment in warmer months however there is no facilities provided to enjoy it ie. no table / chairs or umbrella for shade when one wants to braai outside. The entertainment area is adequate and does have all these facilities but sometimes guests prefer to be outdoors particularly when they braai because it's more sociable and the house doesn't smell like smoke. Other than that we were comfortable and safe.
