Clean apartment on a good location, nicely furnished

Despite the fact that the general description of the hotel states that “each apartment includes a balcony or a terrace with lake views”, our apartment didn’t have either. It had a window which opens to the street and the apparent being on the ground floor meant that there was a constant flow of pedestrians walking just 40 centimeters away from our window. The balcony with lake views was the reason why I chose this place over many others. I raised the issue with the hotel, but they first told me that obviously I haven’t understood the description of the apparent, then they offered me to pay additionally to get a better room and then they urged me to cancel my booking. We are traveling with a small baby and were pretty tired after the long drive, so I couldn’t picture how will I find another place and move at 19:30 pm. Also, one of the facilities listed in the suite’s description was “patio”. It turned out that the patio is the shared backyard, and of course there is not direct access from the room to the patio. So overall, quite a disappointing experience. Make sure to read carefully the descriptions and don’t trust the general description
