The house is beautiful and full of character . Very cosy and well equipped . Really peaceful and private . The dark skies are excellent for stargazing. We particularly loved the sloping floors and wonky window frames - so old and historic and totally different from our own home! Loads of parking and space inside for a larger group . Could easily self cater with the huge kitchen and contents, but I choose not to when on holiday and ate in the local pubs which were very good.
Perhaps a bit chilly in the mornings/evenings , just for showering really - couldn't work out the heating .

The house felt homely with a lot of character. It was spacious and children friendly.
The two single beds shouldn’t be put together as double in the en-suite bedroom. They kept dipping in the middle making it uncomfortable.

The house is so characterful and felt really homely from the start. It is in a great location just off the A40 giving you access to the Brecon Beacons or the Black Mountains with Carmarthenshire further on. The bedding and towels were also great quality - something that we weren’t expecting and felt very luxurious.
There was a lack of communication and we didn’t know how to excess the property but I think this was a mistake by booking.com.
