Jay was great at communicating and answering queries promptly. Although the house is obviously lived in (rather than rented) some of the time there isn't that much evidence. The beds are comfortable, living room good to relax in and kitchen has good facilities.
I think the bathroom and landing could do with painting, especially as old paintwork doesn't always come up perfectly clean. The cold tap lever in the kitchen needs repair (but we could still use it :))

We were in walking distance to everything we wanted. We could bring the dog. Plenty of street parking.
It was weird staying in someone's house where their clothes are in the wardrobe, toothbrush and razor in bathroom, and freezer full of their food. Broken fence leading to nextdoor's garden so had to keep close eye on my dog.
