Communication with the owner was perfect.
The apartment is right in the heart of the old town, and if you imagine narrow alleyways and a typical Italian house — this is exactly it.
There are quite a few steps up to the rooftop terrace from inside the building, with a stunning view — we also dried our laundry up there, it felt like we were in a movie :)
A small sandy beach is just 4 minutes from the apartment, which is great, because there aren’t many sandy beaches around. Locals usually hang out there — because it’s either siesta time, a day off, or some kind of holiday. Work isn’t really a top priority here :D
It’s also close to the train station — in 6 days we visited 5 nearby towns. Getting there and back was super easy and affordable.
Molfetta is a fairytale town untouched by mass tourism, so you really get to feel the authentic Italian vibe. Long siestas, warm Italian openness — it’s all here.
We could feel some dampness in the apartment, but that’s pretty normal for old buildings. We didn’t cook, so the lack of a proper, comfy kitchen didn’t bother us. The fridge is tiny though.
