Very nice cottage

Super nice and clean and had everything you would need.

The view left a lot to be desired as it looked out on mostly construction equipment

Ridiculous and thankfully short!

The driveway was a mess. Last minute we were sent a message to use the driveway past the main house because the regular guest driveway was freshly asphalted and had cones so we could not drive down. The dirt rutted driveway that led to the guest house was definitely a challenge without a 4 wheel drive and I now need a front end alignment. There were no steps to get into the hot tub. You literally would have to climb over the 4ft outside rim of the hot tub to get in so for an elderly couple it was useless. The list of please don’t do was insane. And upon checkout there was another list with such petty items such as please put the coasters back where you found them. Come on like i remember that detail that wasn’t disclosed until check out. I felt very uncomfortable my entire stay. Not to mention the no smoking even outside in the privacy of my car with the windows rolled up was not allowed because they are highly allergic to smoke. We had to drive out the dirt rutted road to the end of the street. And the no smoking rule was not disclosed at booking.

Gorgeous spot and wonderfulIt was a hot day so we walked at Topsmead early, made breakfast and then headed to Sandy Beac

The home was so clean and bright. It was decorated so thoughtfully. We loved the fresh eggs in the morning!
