Lovely little town with the hostel placed in the centre of it, literally. The Hostel is right in the square. It is a vibe hearing the live music and great access to everything. Beautiful frontage that looks well maintained.
The Hostel itself is well equipped. Rooms 5-11 on the 2nd floor, the rest on the middle along with the kitchen. Equipped with everything you might need, communal fridge, wine glasses and stove with pots.
The room itself, can't speak for the dorms, but the twin room is enough. Is small but has a bed, wardrobe and small tables.
The bathrooms are on the bottom floor, down the stair case and walk past the cafe down the hall. Unfortunately, they are 6 communal showers with curtains. Not alot of privacy, I found myself panic showering before anyone walked in as the curtain would keep waking open.
In summer it was a struggle (mid heatwave 2026), no fans for air flow so the windows were opened. But at no fault of the hostel, you will not get much sleep. The town clock chimes on every 15 till about 12am and again at 6am. The centre is very busy, people out till at least 3am and morning workers with trucks on the early AM.
