From the moment we walked into the property we were greeted by Michaele who checked us in and was professional, friendly and provided us with an excellent recommendation for dinner in Ibla. The property is absolutely stunning after being meticulously renovated and ensuring the old world blends in with modern facilities. I felt like a queen walking through the boutique hotel that was once a barons home. The rooms have been fitted with superior fixtures and fittings and we were on level 2 overlooking the Cathedral of St John. The view from the balcony each morning was breathtaking. The morning breakfast was served in a grand ballroom and the buffet style breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Ragusa Superiore is a perfect location with plenty of carparking if you are driving to the property. The staff at reception are helpful and knowledgeable and are ready to greet you as you enter and exit the hotel. I felt truly special staying at this property and there are plenty of breakout spaces for you to sit and relax. The reception area has been beautifully designed and painted with Scicilian motifs and everthing about this property is 5 star. If you are looking for a truly magical and historic place to stay in Ragusa this is it!!

Loved the building, a former abbey. elegant dining room, hallways, high ceilings, nicely decorated room. Breakfast bread and coffee were very good. Staff was very friendly.
Breakfast selection was poor. No fresh OJ available. Limited services and amenities (no tissues).
