Some places simply give you a bed for the night. Others leave you with memories that stay with you long after you've returned home. Campagnana Roma is firmly in the second category.
Perched on a beautiful hill overlooking stunning countryside, this charming property became my sanctuary during the first two weeks of September 2026. From the moment I arrived, I realised I had discovered something special.
I have been fortunate enough to stay in several five-star hotels over the years, yet I can honestly say that I have rarely enjoyed a stay as much as I did here. The room was exceptionally clean, perhaps the cleanest accommodation I have ever experienced. In fact, when showing me around the room and its amenities, the owner was so respectful of its immaculate condition that he was careful about stepping inside. That attention to detail says everything.
The room itself is spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything a guest could need. Separate coffee and tea machines, high-quality coffee pods and tea bags, a large bottle of water, plenty of storage, and countless little touches that make you feel genuinely cared for rather than simply accommodated.
Then there is the bathroom, which was far beyond my expectations. It felt more like a luxury apartment than a holiday rental. A washing machine, numerous cupboards, ample space and plenty of towels for every need made it both practical and indulgent. Even the air conditioning was simple and intuitive to use, and the bed provided some of the best sleep I've had while travelling.
Outside, the property is surrounded by beautiful olive trees and peaceful grounds. Sadly, I didn't have enough time to fully explore them, which is now one of my biggest regrets from the trip.
What truly elevates this place, however, is the hospitality of Giulio and his family. They provide every service you would expect from consummate professionals, but it is their kindness that makes all the difference.

Soggiorno perfetto. La camera è incredibilmente comoda, silenziosa e ideale per rilassarsi al meglio. I proprietari sono stati fantastici: di una cordialità e disponibilità uniche, attenti a ogni nostra esigenza ma con grande discrezione.

Attività gestita da una famiglia di una gentilezza d'altri tempi, location in una zona molto verde e tranquilla.
Purtroppo un' occasione fugace per esigenze di lavoro.
Ma ci sarebbe piaciuto soggiornare più a lungo.
