Very homely cottage which was for the most part, very clean (see below). Extremely well equipped kitchen. Good lighting, WiFi and smart TV. Nice artwork on the walls. Comfortable beds. Upstairs shower very good, one over the bath not so. Two toilets. Walled garden and patio furniture very nice. Good communication and was able to check in early. Lots of info in the cottage, on walks, including maps. Lovely village with a shop and several pubs/restaurants. Stunning scenery all around this area with great walking.
It was not clear from the booking.com details that towels were not included. It was only after we had paid in full and received the full information from the managing agents that it became apparent. Luckily we were on a camper van trip so had our own travel towels. As bed linen is included I don't understand why towels are not! Also there are no toiletries nor dishwasher tablets.
As mentioned the cottage was very clean but unfortunately there was black mould and stains around the shower tray and the bath which needs to be dealt with. The carpet in the lounge was very dirty in places and the sofa is very worn and unsightly.
