The immaculate cleanliness, the welcoming atmosphere created by the hosts, the delicious, hearty breakfasts, excellent Wi-Fi, and the walking distance to cozy rocky coves with crystal-clear azure water make the Carmen Hotel the perfect place for those who need to slow down and recharge. I dream of coming back again!
All the meat appetizers at breakfast were pork. Chicken in any form would have been nice…

The location is pretty awesome, close to a harbour with fresh catch every day that can be consumed at the local restaurant. Many rock beaches are within walking distance. None of those was overcrowded. And the water is just super clean. We really had no need to try out the nice looking hotel pool.
The room was spacious and very clean. It had an A/C, but that one was struggling a bit with the temperatures. The bed was comfy and we had good night sleeps.
Breakfast was really great! Plenty of fresh fruit and veggies. Good coffee (from the Jura machine, don't use the nescafe one) and everyday different types of excellent scrambled eggs. Also quite a lot of home baked rolls and cakes. We were looking forward to breakfast every single day.
Overall it was a wonderful stay and we totally enjoyed it. We will definitely consider staying here again.
Mobile coverage at the hotel is poor at best. Can be a blessing, but also frustrating when you need to contact someone by SMS. WiFi coverage is mostly good (video calls can be made).

There were guests staying, who keep partying outside, in the middle of the night, making it loud and so on.
