Sweet older hotel with good sized comfortable rooms. My room had an old time ceramic tile stove ( but the heating system was through modern radiators) Lovely, clean bathroom with heated towel rack . Elevator available!
Lovely European style breakfast, 6 meat choices four cheese choices, great breads, jams, honey, four yogurt choices, eggs, four cereal choices, fresh fruit, and a tea machine that makes the correct temperature of hot water! Comfortable dining area and attached restaurant.
I have found that in many, many Austrian and German upgraded older hotels have showers that have dangerously slippery floors. This is solved by using a towel and a bath mat to provide traction, but then you have one less towels to use.

+ Fantastic dinner at the cosy hotel restaurant (not included in price)
- Small room with "integrated" shower and toilet. If you like a sense of privacy, this is not for you.
- Included breakfast was a catastrophe: had to wait 25 minutes for a cup of plain coffee and remind the waitress 3 times
- Terribly understaffed
- No drinks or minibar in the separate modern hotel building (2 minute walk from main old hotel building)
- Only one room key card available. Very unpractical if you are staying as a couple.
