It had everything we needed, is a beautifully quirky house and the location suited us completely. We used it as a base to drop my daughter at uni and it all worked perfectly.

From the outside, the place definitely earns the name of Quirky House. The ramp access instead of steps was a huge plus point, which would be of huge benefit to wheelchair users or other mobility impaired occupants. A simple entrance way straight into the large, open plan living room with the large kitchen area at the back of the building. The main bedroom has plenty of space, which once again would be of benefit to wheelchair users for moving around.
The kitchen included a full height fridge freezer with more than enough space for what we brought with us. Darren had kindly offered to pick up some milk for us prior to arrival, which is another gold star for this property and the host. The other appliances were all easy to operate and everything we needed during our stay was provided.
The bathroom has what can only be described as a genuine, feature bathtub, as well as an accessible walk-in shower as well. That copper bathtub is so eye-catching, you feel like you need to bathe in Asses' milk to truly make the most of the gravitas and splendour of using it. The bathroom has, once again, plenty of space for moving around if you are reliant on a wheelchair or a rolling walker. Plenty of space on the windowsills and the wall mounted cupboard for storing things during the stay. At no point did we feel that we had run out of space.
The chairs and the sofa are all comfortable and easy to relax into after a day out adventuring in Manchester. The large screen TV has access to all major streaming services and Sky TV.
Not that it's the fault of the host, but the upstairs bedroom isn't exactly built for full sized adults. You do sometimes feel concerned that if you sit or stand up quickly without checking your surroundings, you may end up headbutting the diagonal roof beams if you're in a hurry. Also, as the roof has several large skylight windows running the length of it, the mezzanine area (which in itself is AWESOME) and the upstairs bedroom can get uncomfortably hot. There are fans in the lounge and another in the upstairs bedroom, but even running the fan upstairs for several hours, the heat during our stay was doing its best to overcome out attempts to keep things cool.
This only seems to affect the upstairs area, as the downstairs seemed to be much easier to regulate the temperature, and the front bedroom rarely felt hot over our entire stay.
Once again, not the direct fault of the host, as there's nothing he can do to control the weather.

Accommodatie was niet schoon, overal spinnenwebben en viezigheid. De keukenkastjes waren vies en roken heel erg.
