Hotel-Gasthof Adler

Our room and bathroom, although smaller than last time we stayed in March, was lovely. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A fan was provided & very welcome as it was very warm for September. The buffet breakfast was excellent and plentiful, with fresh fruit salad and a variety of juices, cereals, bread/pastries, cold meats/patè and cheeses, scrambled egg & smoked salmon, tea & coffee.

Whilst accepting that it is rare in Europe, we really missed not having a kettle & brew-making facilities in our room, for a cup of tea before breakfast.

breakfast was good, even sparkling wine was offered. The sleeping was good, good bed. The cleaniness was good too. The wall behind the bed is entirely made of very old wood, which is characteristic, but not surely safe from fire. Altogether it was good for those who like country style.

location is out of anywhere, literally nowhere to go, so you must have car to go to to any walking place, shop or whatsoever ; the house is a village cottedge house, O.K. we knew that and wanted to try, no critics it was o.k. , but for almost same price you can stay in a hotel in a town or close to facilities. This is for people who like country style accomodation, otherwise go elsewhere ... There are stairs UP from street, so with heavy suitcase you have go upstairs and they are not very wide, so carrying suitcase is not convenent. Personnel was involved in serving guests of their restaurant and we got kind of attention only on our request. Altogether O.K.

Nice and quiet, perfect breakfast and kind staff. Absolute value for money family owned business with a great sense for details that matters!

Property was very clean. Room modern.

Nobody there to check in as they were day off. No mention that hotel backs onto railway track. No air conditioning although stated there was. Pillows very soft in fact nothing in them. No restaurant available on the day we stayed as owners were day off. Thought price was high for location and room.
