Central location and excellent staff
Old fashioned and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast needs more fruit and choice of bread/better pastries.

Good breakfast - plenty of choice
No air-conditioning so we asked to change our room for one at rear of hotel which was cooler and reasonably quiet. We were very pleased with this option.

The position
There was only one person staff. She was at reception, bar and whatever else, obviously unable to follow everyone because totally alone. The bedroom was very cold with air conditioning at high speed despite being in winter, probably to cover the unpleasant smell of bathroom. So, on the whole we found far too expensive for what it offered and not up to a four star accommodation.
