Very well situated luxerious accomodation which grants tourist complete freedom and safety. Loved the trust bar!! The location is a true representation of the Garden route. Very central and walking distance to great restaurants.

The location is great, within easy walking distance of local restaurants, and the property features a well-kept outdoor area and garden. There is also a good selection of in-room tea and coffee.
Unfortunately, the hotel is outdated and lacks charm. There is a general damp smell throughout the property, and while it feels clean, the heavy use of pine gel leaves a strong, unpleasant chemical odor.
A few details negatively impacted our comfort:
Comfort & Maintenance: The mattress topper had a deep indentation that forced us to remove it in the middle of the night. The shower leaked, the massage chair makes a loud noise and needs servicing, and the bathroom lacks an extractor fan.
Atmosphere & Staff: Staff in communal areas were loudly watching series on their phones. Instead of playing relaxing background music in the lounge and breakfast area, local radio was playing—listening to ad breaks ruins the ambiance.
Service & Quality: Breakfast could definitely be improved. For a 5-star rating at this price point, the amenities feel cheap—from the basic drinks to mismatched cutlery (all three teaspoons in our room were different) and low-end glassware.
Keys: Room access requires a bulky handful of two remotes and two keys, which is inconvenient to carry and easily misplaced.
