About this house rental
Four Sail Cottage. Enjoy a perfectly, peaceful vacation in this spacious coastal home, built in 2025, near Cape Carteret/Emerald Isle. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac.
The space
This beautiful coastal cottage boasts 12-foot tall vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. Soak in the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the front porch. Then wind down with a glass of wine while you watch the breath-taking sunset view from the back porch. Two large covered parking bays. Grilling area with TV.
Three bedrooms (K, Q, Q) and 2 full baths all on one level. There is an additional half-bath downstairs for your convenience when grilling out or gathering outdoors. The large backyard is just right for a game of cornhole or just enjoying time with the family.
The sunroom just off of the kitchen features beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows and a queen sleeper sofa. Step out of the sunroom to enjoy unbelievable sunset views from your balcony.
The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a gas range, large fireclay sink, and spacious pantry. The coffee bar features a pot-filler for easy access to filtered water. The large quartz bar comfortably seats four. The dining table seats six.
After a long day on the beach, relax in the shade in the spacious open carport, complete with dining table, grill, and plenty of lighting.
At Four Sail Cottage you can avoid the crowds, and enjoy peaceful seclusion. If a day at the beach is in your plans, you are only a 10-minute drive to Emerald Isle, or take a quick 15-minute drive to Morehead for a day of shopping and dining. Historic downtown Swansboro on the waterfront is also only 15 minutes away. Enjoy a round of golf at Star Hill Golf Club, just 10 minutes away.
There is plenty of nearby entertainment for the kids as well including the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, Mac Daddy's Entertainment Center, and Grace Adventure Park.

This was exactly what we were looking for, a beautiful home we could enjoy! Our family vacation, with our two college age kids, was a perfect blend of being a house that they wanted to be in and the quiet location close to the beach and activities. Watch the host video to get a sense of the vaulted ceiling and decor in this new house. Yes, an equipped kitchen! The host, Amie, was top notch, just the best, and quick with communication. Neighborhood is perfect for quiet walks. We were thankful for the beach chairs and towels. All four of us enjoyed the games and the guitar available in the living room. We recommend this place and hope to return.
