The space is new and modern, and very comfortable. Great location, near metro or walk to major attractions. It had a dishwasher, washing machine, full cookware and utensils. The building is safe and secure, with many good restaurants, bakeries and groceries nearby.

The apartment is quiet but only a few minutes walk from the lively La Marais area with many restaurants and stores. Late in the night it's safer there than in other areas of Paris (for example some areas in the north of city). The apartment is in an old house but has new modern equipment. I chose the apartment because of the washing machine which worked. The heating (which you needed in March) worked very well and it was indeed cosy. Some equipment is so modern that you need an instruction. The host gave an instruction for the stove. I myself found out about the heating (turn - not press - to regulate the temperature) and the tv remote control (tilt - not press - to select volume and programs). The key collection worked well with clear instructions. The tv is connected to the internet. I loved to stay in the apartment and hope to come back soon. The price of the accomodation was fair and worth it. The ceiling is low. I recommend that people who are taller than 1.90 m ask the host for the exact height of the ceiling.
