This was our first time in Quebec City and Maison du Fort was perfect for our initial visit. We loved the modern meets historic aesthetic of the building from the original style windows with wooden interior shutters to the black bathroom fixtures, not to mention the heated bathroom floors. The location was ideal. Walking distance to everything and the street was closed on the weekends to cars, so super quiet. We recommend gathering supplies and having a picnic at sunset one block behind the hotel on the Plains of Abraham overlooking the city and river. Our host, Marie-Eve was very pleasant, super helpful and full of information, a true asset to this hotel.
When we asked for the room to be made up, we received fresh towels but the coffee pods and the lotion in the bathroom were not refilled. (The Oneka products were amazing! Would love to have been able to purchase some at the hotel to take home.)

Le cadre belle maison avec des pierres, la personne à l’accueil très chaleureuse.
La chambre pas pratique, exiguë pas de place pour les valises, des lampes tête de lit qui ne fonctionnent pas. Salle de bain à l’étage dans la chambre, pas possible d’allumer la lumière pour monter l’escalier faut être en haut. Chambre sombre.
