Wat een fijne tijd hebben we gehad bij de familie 🥰 Iedereen is superaardig en wil met alles helpen. Dat was vooral heel erg fijn toen m'n man z'n mobieltje in de über had laten liggen 🙏 Daarnaast kookt mama heerlijk 😋 Het winkeltje wat ze runnen heeft ook alle basics die je nodig hebt, dus je hoeft niet naar de stad. We hebben met hulp van hen een leuke tour naar het Sandoval meer geboekt. Als je rond het hostel loopt valt er echter al genoeg moois te zien. De Oje-boom bijvoorbeeld die (als je ervoor staat) links van het hostel staat.
Niets. Natuurlijk is het overdag warm zonder airco, maar dat kun je zelf verwachten en lezen dat die er niet is. We zijn te verwend geraakt daarmee 😅

The staff were very nice and very helpful. On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans.
They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here.
They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts.
Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.
It is far from the city and most of the taxis didn’t want to take us. The accommodation is accessible only by a dirt road. The room was very nice but there is a hole between the walls and the roof so you could hear everything happening in the surrounding, including the roosters that started at 4 in the morning. We were lucky to have earbuds with us.
Besides the room, other facilities are quite messy and unclean. The kitchen was shared with the hosts family.
