Very clean lodging, very responsive and helpful host. She even saved us a parking spot when we were having trouble! Fabulous location for exploring downtown. All bedrooms were a great size. Two bathrooms made our stay comfortable, and the apartment is next door to a really great pasticceria. Gorgeous views from the bedroom windows.
No fault of the host, but the building has some problems. One of the doors was extremely difficult to open and we had to wait for assistance several times (either from the host, or from other people in the building). Also, for a 7 day stay we were pretty short on supplies - one bathroom ran completely out of toilet paper, and the other was on the last half roll. There were not have extra garbage bags, so we had to get creative after we took the trash out a few days into the stay. A coffee maker that takes more conventional pods would have been useful (we never found the right ones in any store while we were there) and having to take the microwave out of the cabinet and find a place to plug it in was not ideal. For 6 of us, there were only 5 forks in the apartment, and I bought a wine opener to leave there because the one in the drawer was broken into several pieces. Mostly minor inconveniences, most of which we would not really have noticed if we had a shorter stay.

Sehr netter Host in perfekter Lage, die Altstadt war fußläufig zu erreichen und immer Parkplätze für den Leihwagen in der Nähe. Besonders ist natürlich die Altstadt mit ihren unzähligen Lokalen und historischen Attraktionen. Zu erwähnen ist natürlich auch der endlos lange Hausstrand von Catania mit feinem Sand, dort findet jeder sein Platzerl entweder im öffentlichen Bereich oder in einer der unzähligen Beachclubs mit Liegen und Schirmen.
