The lady who dealt with me, was friendly and extremely helpful. My room (1) went above and beyond what I`d expect for the price I`d paid. It was perfect for a one night stay, spotless, comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and the whole room was spotless. I didn`t have breakfast, as I was up and away early, but slept like a log, as there was no noise at all from the pub. I would happily stay here again.
Bollington is a lovely village too, some decent pubs, an Italian, a chippy and is exceptionally pretty.
The Church House Inn, would make a great base for walking / outdoor activities in that part of the Peak District.

Reasonable meal in pub bar although we were only ones eating on a Saturday evening !
Nice village but not easy to get to.
